How to Download and Setup the Amcrest View Pro 2 App.

The Amcrest View Pro 2 app allows you to view live and playback any motion detection, continuous recording, or even smart events if you have an Amcrest AI camera connected. The playback option in the Amcrest View Pro 2 app is only used for viewing NVR/DVR and MicroSD card recordings that are stored on the device. For more information on accessing playback in the Amcrest View Pro app, please refer to the information provided below. 

Please note, the Amcrest View Pro 2 app cannot view recordings from any PC-NVR, FTP/NAS devices, etc.

Downloading the App (Apple iOS)

Step 1: Open your Apple App store and search for Amcrest View Pro 2, or click this link to download it from Apple. 

Step 2: Open your new Amcrest View Pro 2 App from on your iOS device. The icon will look like this:

Step 3: Tap on "Add Device" located at the top right of the screen. 

Step 4: Next, tap on "IP/Domain/DDNS". 

Step 5: Next, change the Add Mode to DDNS by click on the Add Mode option.

Step 5: Select DDNS.

Step 5: In this step, your provider will send you the information needed to complete the setup. If you do not have this information, please contact your provider. One all fields are completed, click Save.
